Also, I didn't catch it on the first or second, third, and fourth viewing, but I noticed in Lagann Hen that during the scene where Simon is about to break out of the multiverse, one of the parallel worlds shown involves him holding a small baby. Way to make a person shed unmanly tears, Gainax.

Of course, a spin off series where the parallel worlds are featured as stand alone endings would be boss awesome. (And yes, this is me just wanting a happy Nia lives/SimonxNia ending).

In other news, I've been doing...nothing! Well, there really is nothing to do. No jobs are hiring. Well, the census bureau is hiring, so maybe I might have a chance with that. It pays 18 dollars an hour. I swear if I got that job I would do cart wheels down the street. I know it's temporary, but temporary job is better than no job.

I also noticed that my inner monologue voice is the smug voice of Johnny Yong Bosch. And if this happens to you often, well, you are now reading this in the voice of Johnny Yong Bosch too.

Yes, I do realize I am completely mental. And apparently the only one in my household who does that, but I thought it was normal to hear an inner voice in your heading speaking aloud the things you read. Maybe I'm just not explaining it right? Or maybe, as I said, I'm just freaking mental.

Thanks to last week's Monster episodes, I know have two new fanfic stories featuring none other than rookie detective Jan Suk. Who knew you could get turned on by the voice of Dean Venture screaming "Ow it hurts!" and "I don't wanna die"? Well, apparently I'm not the only one so I guess I shouldn't feel too disgusted with myself. Then again, /a/ is full of perverts and degenerates, so maybe I should feel a little ashamed. I can't help I get turned on easier by audio than visuals. The mind works in mysterious ways and all that.

Oh, and about a thousand wasp got into my house today. I hate spring! I hate wasp! And bees! And everything else that stings and bites. There's a nest around here somewhere, I just know it, but damn if I'm going searching for it.

Some anti-government group made a threat against our governor. And a guy hung up a communist flag because apparently America is now a socialist country. Because capitalism has been doing so well, amirite? Listening to this guy made me think immediately of Andrew Ryan's in Bioshock. Yes, boohoo, the lazy savages are getting helped at your expense; as if this sort of shit was all some new shit Obama just brought to the table yesterday. What do they think medicaid and welfare and food stamps and Section 8 are? Or low income housing? Or Section 8 house vouchers?

And I love how the lady on Fox News said that free healthcare should be like food stamps, people should be given vouchers; because, according to her, you don't just give people food, you give them food stamps. And then something about Jesus giving people fish (I think she meant the phrase: "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he'll eat for all his days, but she screwed it up.)

But hey, Jesus was all for helping out other people and giving out free food and shit, he must be a dirty baby killing hippie liberal socialist too.

Ugh, I really need to stop watching Fox News.
